Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of DraftFoot, a personal, non-commercial side project ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. Contact: thehperm@gmail.com.
1. The service
DraftFoot is an online game in which two players draft real footballers, build a lineup, and receive an AI-generated match analysis. Some features ("premium" — the radar chart, AI tactical verdict and gameplan input) are unlocked by spending credits. The game is for entertainment.
2. Accounts
You can play for free without an account. To buy or spend credits you sign in via Clerk. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Provide accurate information.
3. Credits & payment
- Credits are a limited licence to access premium features; they are not money, have no cash value, and are non-transferable.
- Prices are shown in EUR and charged via Stripe. One credit unlocks premium features for one game, for both players in that room.
- A credit is consumed when a premium game starts.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: abuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service; scrape or bulk-extract data; cheat or exploit bugs; use offensive or infringing display names; or reverse-engineer the service except as permitted by law.
5. Data & intellectual property
Football statistics and market values are provided by third parties (Sportmonks, Understat, Transfermarkt) and remain their property; you obtain no rights to that data. The DraftFoot site, design and software are owned by us. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". Statistics and AI verdicts are for entertainment and may be incomplete or inaccurate. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and in-progress games may be lost if the server restarts.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including your statutory consumer rights).
8. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
